Two Paws Up for the @FitBark

FitBark 3

My sister has a dog. Unfortunately he has run into some challenges health wise over the last year. One of the questions the vet has been asking her is “how active is your dog“. Although a very simple question, it is very difficult to answer given that during the day most of us are at work and have no idea how active their pet is.

Here is a great device that will help you keep track of your dog during the day. This small, bone shaped activity tracker called the FitBark will help you to track Fido’s daily activity time, resting time and activity levels.

The FitBark device can synchronize wirelessly with compatible Bluetooth 4.0 / BLE smartphones including many iOS (iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPad 3, iPad mini, iPod touch 5th gen ) or Android (Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, Note II, 10.1) devices.

If you are concerned about radiation or Bluetooth exposure, don’t be. FitBark emits less than 1/10,000th the amount of radiation from a cell phone, and a small fraction of what we humans get from using a Bluetooth headset. FitBark is waterproof and provides you with a Bark Score for your dog. A Bark Score tells you how consistently your dog has been meeting his or her minimum daily goal.  You will also receive an alert warning you if your dog is far from reaching their daily goal.
