Weatherproof, IR night vision and sync-able to your iOS or Android device the Netatmo Presence allows you to not only record but it learns, recognizes and alerts you when something happens. In line with other Netatmo products such as the Netatmo Welcome, this logic programmed into this camera can recognize people and distinguish between known and trusted individuals and strangers. The Netatmo Presence has taken this amazing feature to the next level with the ability to now distinguish between known and unknown cars and pets. Hmm perhaps this device will be able to help me with my pesky squirrel problems.
Small, sleek, modern looking, the Netatmo Presence is easily to DIY install. The device also doubles as a night light so that you can replace and upgrade the intelligence of your existing external light.
As with other Netatmo devices the Presence will capture information on to a local Micro SD card. However given the most likely this device will be located at a non secure location, the Netatmo Presence has the option to be configured to upload the data to a local FTP server.
What I love about this device is that the Netatmo Presence can be configured to select specific areas for alerts. The camera can detect devices up to 20m / 65ft away.
Netatmo has taken personal home security from out of the home on to the street.
