Blink 6

Mobile, portable, electric devices are the transportation of the future. Electric rides such as hoverboards, skates and skateboards are the personal transport craze.

If you are looking for the perfect alternative to spice up your daily transportation then look no further. The Blink Electric Skateboard. can hit speeds of up to 15 Mph (~ 24 km/h), has a 6 mile (~ 9.6 km) or 45 min range and is controlled by a remote. Whether going to work or having fun, the Blink Electric Skateboard will allow you to hit the streets in style.

In a phrase Blink is not your dad’s skateboard. In fact there is nothing on the market like it. You may have read about electric longboards, however this device can be distinguished. The Blink Skateboard is a smaller, lighter electric skateboard. At 27 inches in (deck) length and 9 pounds, it is very easy to carry around. At half the price of the nearest competitor it is an inexpensive environmentally friendly alternative.

Having tried some of the hoverboards on the market I am aware of some of the initial challenges. However, having tried Blink at CES I can tell you that getting used to the Blink Electric Skateboard is much easier.

Simply press the button to turn on the Skateboard. Use the remote to select your level Slide the tab the the right for normal, left for pro, middle is for off. The throttle button on the top of the remote controls speed. Users should be careful as the throttle button is sensitive.
Make sure your weight is well distributed on the board and you are braced for the movement otherwise you will fall. When initially learning to use the Blink Electric Skateboard it is easiest with a push start, in contrast to a static start.

One thing to be careful of, as with all electronic parts, water can potentially damage this skateboard, so you should not use this electric skateboard on wet surfaces or in the rain.

The Blink Electric Skateboard has forward and rear illumination lights which makes it much easier to see than traditional skateboards. When battery is low, a small speaker from the skateboard will beep several times as a warning. Charge time for Blink/ is approximately 1 hour.
