A little Tea with a twist of IoT in the Smart Kitchen

Every Smart Home should should have cutting edge technology in the connected kitchen. IoT (Internet of Things) technology has tremendous potential to transform every corner of our smart home.

By implementing IoT technology in your kitchen, you can automate tasks, eliminate the need to check if your fruit are fresh or get notified that you have run out of milk. IoT can improve several aspects of a kitchen including enhanced food quality, lower energy costs and reduced food waste. A key ingredient for your connected kitchen is the kettle.

With the ability to enable you to boil your water from anywhere, Smarter has provided connected connoisseurs with the 3rd Generation iKettle. With its sturdy yet modern design iKettle is the perfect smart appliance for your kitchen. Through the magic of secure Wi-Fi  internet connectivity and an iOS or Android mobile app. You can control the iKettle with a swipe of your finger or by simply saying ‘Alexa, turn the kettle on.’ In addition to Alexa, the iKettle works with Amazon IFTTT, Google Assistant and much more.  iKettle allows you to customize your water temperature. Every tea drinker knows that the best temperature for tea is around 190F, while green tea requires a water temperature of around 150 to 160F. The Smarter 3.0 app allows you to delicately control the temperature on the iKettle within 1 degree increments.

The iKettle also provides users with a multitude of smart home features including water sensors that allow you to see how much water is in the iKettle by looking at the water level in the Smarter app. Home mode on the iKettle will ensure you have that hot cup of water ready for your cup of choice as soon as you walk in your front door. The iKettle has other modes, such as Wake Up mode that sets an alarm to boil the kettle. This is useful for having the kettle boiled for when you rise in the morning. For new parents, iKettle is enabled with Formula Mode. Remotely boil water between 20 -100 degrees and received notification when your water is ready.

The Smart kitchen of the future is here today with the Wi-Fi enabled iKettle.
