Whether it be the announcements of Samsung’s Galaxy Fold or Huawei’s Mate X or TCL’s DragonHinge. Life has changed dramatically for smart phones. Mobility has gone on a bender.
Not to be left out. Chinese Smartphone innovator Nubia Technology has given us a different perspective on bendable mobility. The Nubia Alpha is a Flexible, 4-inch, OLED smart phone wrap-around screen that can be wrapped around your wrist as a wearable.
Crafted from Anodized Stainless Steel with a real 18k gold variant plated band, the Alpha is available in both black and gold colors. The 4 inch display has a resolution of 960 x 192. This device is powered by a Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM and runs a Nubia‘s custom Android-based OS. This device comes with a 5 megapixel camera and 1GB of RAM + 8GB of onboard memory. The battery life on the Alpha is approximately one to two days of regular use (up to a week of standby time).
The Nubia Alpha will come in two versions. A Bluetooth version that will be available in April of 2019 on the Global Market. And a eSIM (4G) version that will be available in China in April 2019, Europe in Q3 2019 and in North America in Q4 2019.
