The GoSun Sport is a eco friendly, carbon zero solar stove. It is a clean way to cook without soot or residue. No burning charcoal embers to dispose of, no open flame to worry about. When you are done cooking, just fold up the GoSun and go. Additionally the GoSun Sport cooks a meal in as little as 20 minutes utilizing the infinite power of the sun. This portable stove is light enough to take anywhere and can be assembled and deployed in a matter of seconds.
How it Works ?
Setting up the GoSun Sport is quick and simple. Just unfold the legs, add food. Rotate the GoSun stove until the reflectors are facing perpendicular to the sun. Note that the GoSun Sport stove should be readjusted every hour (approximately) as the sun moves in the sky.
Sunlight is focused by the compound parabolic reflectors onto the tube, heating the inner cooking chamber. The vacuum tube acts as a near-perfect insulator, converting more than 80% of the Sun’s rays into useable heat. The heat inside mimics that of an oven, building up to a staggering 550°F/ 280°C.
Easy Clean up
Cleaning up after cooking can be done in 4 easy steps:
- Once the GoSun Sport has cooled down (can take over an hour), screw the scrubber tool to the far end of the tray leaving the handle in place.
- Fill the tool with about 8 oz (0.5 l) of water and a drop of dish soap
- Insert the cooking tray in the cooled tube and twist clockwise while plunging up and down.
- Rinse the try and (cooled) tube with water.
