Our friends at Toast have come up with a highly unique, yet extremely cool gift from you to your mom. Simple but stylish the Toast cover can be customized with your face or expression of love. Made from harvested real wood veneer, Toast Custom Covers are made from environmentally friendly material cut with lasers and finished by hand. Available for a long line of laptops, tablets and phones, you can find the perfect cover for your mom’s favourite technology.
Creating a Custom Cover
Creating a custom cover for your device is easy. Custom covers are an amazing way to personalized your Tech and can be done in a few easy steps:
1. Upload your artwork file to toastmade.com . The artwork must be a high-resolution image or vector file (i.e. JPG, PSD, BIT, AI & EPS).
2. Toast will send back a high-resolution rendering of your design. Adjustments will be made based on your input.
3. Once you approve the final rendering Toast will create the cover and mail it to you.
Installation
Installation of the cover is just as easy as creating it. Included in the shipped package you will have an alcohol wipe and your wood cover and (if ordered) a bottom and keyboard cover. After you have washed your hands, use the alcohol wipe (included) and clean the surface of your laptop.
Utilize the alignment markers on the bottom of the cover to test align the cover with the back of your laptop. Peel off the backing paper and gently lay the cover onto the laptop (working the flat areas first). Press firmly to set the adhesive. Note, if you misalign the cover, peel it off gently and re-apply. Do not wait too long otherwise the cover may get damaged when trying to remove it. If your Toast kit includes a bottom and/or keyboard follow the same instructions as the top cover. Align the edge, test, peel and apply.
