Built within the small form factor is the smallest camera ever at 2.25mm. This camera is infrared with Windows Hello capabilities. This enables Windows 10 users to authenticate secure access to their devices, apps, online services and networks with an iris scan or facial recognition.
Traditionally one big complaint from users of Windows based machines is the time it takes to power up and log into their machine. Dell has address this with a built in sensor that allows you to open the lid and power up in milliseconds, no matter what power-state you are in. Additionally, with Windows Hello and a fingerprint reader built into the power button you can log in with just a touch. Or use the infrared camera with facial recognition to log in with just a look.
