A different kind of #CES2021 is unveiled #Digital

For decades the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has become the focal point where the technology world  meets annually. Last year, CES 2020 was held across more than 2.9 million net square feet of exhibition space in 11 official venues in Las Vegas. It featured more than 4400 exhibitors, showcased disruptive technology to more than 170,000 attendees. More than 35% of CES 2020 attendance came from outside of the United States.

One year later, CES 2021 will be truly a different type of show. This years all digital and virtual version  will have more than 1800 exhibitors and more than 100 conference sessions. Despite the change in venue, major broadcast networks, trade publications, magazines, newspapers, websites, podcasts and blogs including New Gizmo Blog will cover CES 2021.

#CES2021 will be broken into five distinct themes:

  • 5G – Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg will kick off the show with a keynote focused on what the company has learned from rolling out its 5G network
  • Health Tech – featuring Health gadgets, fitness equipment and wearables
  • Digital transformation — Telehealth, working from home, remote learning, streaming
  • Smart home – smart devices and systems into living rooms, kitchens and elsewhere
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 – Samsung’s will unveil three new smartphones on the last day
