The Sony Reon Pocket 5 is a wearable thermal device designed to directly cool or warm the part of the body it’s in contact with. Engineered for year-round use, it functions as a personal air conditioner or heater. The device includes a dedicated neckband that can be adjusted to fit neck size and angle, ensuring stability and preventing shifting during movement.

The internal structure of the thermal module in the Reon Pocket 5 has been redesigned and made larger, achieving up to 1.8 times the cooling efficiency.

What’s particularly impressive is its quiet operation—thanks to a redesigned thermal module and cooling fan, the Reon Pocket 5 operates discreetly. The cooling fan blade shape is optimized for the internal structure, reducing operating noise by approximately 80%.

Additionally, the device’s sensing functionality, including direct sunlight detection, has been improved, allowing for quicker adjustments to suit environmental conditions. It runs for approximately 4 hours at the maximum cooling level (COOL Level 5) and around 7.5 hours at COOL Level 4.

Oh.. and not to change the season. The Reon Pocket 5 can also be used in in colder seasons, offering four adjustable WARM MODE levels to suit individual preferences.
