When celebrating your mom, or partner this year, they deserve some love. Whether it be work from home or endless video meetings, moms have been through a lot this past year. At times with their busy schedule it has been easy for them to forget where they put their keys, their purse or even where they parked.
Apple.has come to the rescue for mom with the Airtag . I’ve been waiting for this product to come to market There are a few other manufacturers with numerous iterations. However, they all seem to be one or two things off. Apple finally comes out with this little device, a perfect companion for us and Apple’s ecosystem. Apple’s Airtag leverages millions of iOS devices out there to update the location and is powered with a CR-2032 battery and should last about 1 year.
A Great Device at the size of a Quarter
Each Airtag l can be described as a small, silver metal disc embedded inside a slightly larger white disc. All in all, it’s 1.26 inches in diameter and 0.31 inches thick. It weighs 0.39 ounces. The Airtag is rated IP67 for splash, water, and dust resistance. That means that, if it falls in the water, it will still work as long as it doesn’t go much deeper than one meter and you get it out within 30 minutes.
Airtags can be found by using the Findmy app in your iPhone which can play a sound and guide you to it’s exact location with an accuracy of a few feet. You might be worry if someone slips an Airtag in your bag to track you, don’t worry Apple has it covered. Your iPhone will alert you if there is an unidentified Airtag nearby and alert you of such.
Apple sells them 1 for $29 and pack of 4 for $99 with free custom engraving.
