Looking to change this trend, Steam ovens have been rapidly growing in popularity. They use hot steam rather than hot air to cook food. Cooking with steam ovens retains more nutrients than in comparison to using a microwave. This is because a steam oven destroys fewer nutrients in foods as compared to over cooking microwave.
Steambox is a rechargeable and portable steam oven system that can heat up meals though its heating system. It creates steam using its built-in electric heating technology. The user simply adds water in the morning and, when they are ready to eat, turns the Heatbox on and the food will be warm in 8-12 minutes.
Steambox can heat up to 3 times on a single charge. Each full battery allows for 50 minutes of steaming. The lights will flash when your meal is ready.
With the power of Bluetooth and the Steambox app you can customize your steaming based on the size and type of food.
- For relatively small or lighter meals (e.g. veggies) select ‘low’.
- For an average sized meal (e.g. rice or pastas) select ‘medium’.
- For larger and/or dense meals (e.g. soups, meat and potatoes) select ‘high’.
Eat Healthier
