Apple unveiled four new smartphones – the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, as well as new watches. The Phone 14, lineup took center stage for at its Cupertino, California headquarters and online for users.
The iPhone 14 appears to be a minor evolution of the iPhone 13. Other than the disappearance of the SIM card compartment, replaced by its digital version and the satellite connection. The Pro versions is powered by new faster A16 chip and screen that is brighter and allows for always-on display. The high-end phones come with a new design that houses the front camera in a pill-shaped hole in the screen replacing the iPhone 13’s notch. There wasn’t significant fundamental changes to its handsets.
For consumers, the iPhone has always been considered a luxury device associated with wealth. Price wise, the iPhone is one of the most expensive smartphones on the market, and the Pro models are top of the line. As a result consumers should look at a case to protect this investment.
