The LG OLED TV goes big and wireless #CES2023

CES media day marks the busiest day before CES officially kicks off. At #CES2023 LG Electronics CEO, William Cho announced how this innovator will launch new disruptive technology that will make a better and more environmentally sustainable life for customers.

With the motto, Life is good, LG’s mission to keep smile on our customers especially during the difficult times. The answer is with the customers where innovation starts and ends.

Technology for a Better Life

Envisioning a sustainable world where Life’s Good for the planet and all its inhabitants, LG continues to pursue eco-minded solutions and ideas for a greener environment and develop user-centric products and services that provide access to convenient, valuable, and novel experiences for everyone. Included in its mindset are:

  • Tech for Good: Putting people and the planet first are the heart of LG’s Better Life Plan 2030 initiative.
  • Better life for All: LG is eliminating accessibility barriers for consumers by including voice recognition for visually challenged consumers.

Entertainment and TV Excellence

LG could have stopped here. However to add on top of this LG announced its new TV technology that had the crowd speechless

Beginning with the first consumer 97-Inch OLED TV that has the capabilities to connect and transmit wirelessly through a wireless box. The Signature OLED M TV is the first to support so-called Zero Connect wireless video and audio transmissions. This allows consumers to plug their devices into a large external box and send a 4K 120Hz picture to the TV from up to 30 feet away without running cables directly into the set. It features a 97-inch 4K OLED display that will deliver pictures at 120Hz with self-lit pixels.

Fridges that match your style

LG also unveiled cool tech that will have you seeing and hearing in style.

The new LG MoodUP refrigerator, allow a real time transition to enable you to transform your appliances from drab to change your fridge’s doors to meet your room’s style. Users can select from 1,800 different color combinations. There are 22 options for the top panels and 19 options for the lower panels—as well as preset themes.

The MoodUp features a Signature 4-Door French Door fridge comes with Dual InstaView. This means both upper doors can go transparent with a simple knock to show what’s inside the cooler.

The MoodUP refrigerator doesn’t stop with visuals. A built-in Bluetooth speaker allows users to connect the fridge via smartphone or tablet and to stream music or podcasts through Alexa or Google integration.
